Children’s Ministry

At Springs of Hope Fellowship, we don’t believe our kids are the Church of the future, we believe our kids ARE the church today. As part of the Church, our kids are welcome to participate in the Praise and Worship portion of our service. Afterwards, the kids are invited to take part in one of our children’s ministry programs.

Nursery
We encourage parents with infants up through potty-trained toddlers to bring their children to our nursery. This allows our parents to receive the Word of God without distraction. Our nursery is always staffed with at least two people who love Jesus and love babies. All our adult volunteers have been valued and well trusted members of our congregation for some time, and have also submitted to background checks. We also have a wide variety of books, toys, and (of course) snacks for your little ones.

Preschool Children
Children 3-6 are welcome in our Children’s Church class to have lots of fun learning to love Jesus and each other. Each child is welcomed by name into our class and given opportunity to share what’s important to them. We then take some time to learn Truth from God’s Word and do lots of activities to reinforce the Truth we learned. Please be sure to tell the teacher if your child has any special dietary restrictions, as we often use creative snacks to help us remember our lesson for the day!

Elementary Children
Children 7 up through middle school are invited to our Older Kids’ Sunday School class to have fun and learn God’s Truth through His Word, the Bible. Every week we show the kids how His Word is just as important for them in their individual lives as it is for the parents out in the Sanctuary. We encourage the kids to commit a Bible verse to memory each week, as well as to find ways to put what we’ve learned to practical use. The kids are encouraged on a regular basis in their personal walks with Jesus, and those who don’t know Jesus are given a chance to meet Him.
